About DropText

DropText is built and maintained by Zelvior, an independent frontend and full-stack developer who builds lightweight, high-performance web tools that run well even on low-end hardware.

Why DropText exists

Most text-sharing tools either bury basic privacy features behind a paywall or require an account just to paste a few lines of text. DropText was built to be the opposite: fast to use, free, and honest about what it stores — with real client-side encryption available to anyone who wants it, not just paying users.

How it's run

DropText runs on a small, transparent stack: a static frontend and a Supabase database for storage. There's no ad network, no analytics tracking, and no data reselling. The privacy policy spells out exactly what's stored and for how long.
